Coming to iPhone and Android

Do it once.
Or do it daily.

Tasks, habits, and projects in one calm place. ogoria keeps the rhythm so you can keep the promise.

A confirmation now, one email at launch. Nothing else.

The idea

Some things you do once.
Some you do over and over.

Most tools flatten both into one list, then treat every miss the same way. ogoria holds them apart, right down to the shape of the checkbox.

A task is square

Discrete. Completable. Done once, then gone.

  • Do on a day — it shows up that morning.
  • Do by a date — it carries the time remaining.
  • Anytime — no date, no pressure, still on the list.
  • Close it without doing it — not needed, too late, cancelled — and the reason is kept.

Only a genuinely late one-off ever turns clay. It has to have actually slipped.

A habit is round

Cyclical. Returning. Measured, never finished.

  • Daily means daily — no day picker, no target to negotiate.
  • Weekly on fixed days, or any three days you like.
  • Monthly on the 1st, or the last Saturday.
  • Bounded if you want one — 30 days, 8 weeks — and it finishes with a recap instead of fading out.

A missed day lowers a rate. It never turns red, and it never piles up.

The promise

A missed habit lowers a number.
It never breaks you.

A streak is a chain, and a chain only breaks. A rate recovers. That is the whole argument, and it is built into the data model rather than bolted on as a setting.

  • Grace days. One skip a week keeps a daily streak. One short week a month keeps a weekly one. Illness and travel shouldn't erase three weeks of effort.
  • Pause. Going away? Pause the habit. It waits, and nothing is lost.
  • Done late still counts. A monthly habit finished a few days behind records as amber — honestly, and gently.
  • Habits are never overdue. The word doesn't apply, so the colour never appears.

We will never use guilt to make you productive.

Every morning

Mornings start calm.
Evenings actually end.

Today gathers what's due now and suggests one Focus. Everything else waits in Plan and Projects, where it can't stare at you over breakfast.

  • The ring counts items, not percent. 3 of 7 is concrete and finite — a day you can actually finish.
  • One Focus, suggested. If you do one thing today, make it this. Swap it, or ignore it.
  • Then it tells you to stop. When the ring closes, the screen says so and hands the evening back.

Your evening is yours.

Bigger things

Projects hold work
with a finish line.

A trip to plan, a room to renovate, a course to finish. Projects nest exactly one level — into tracks — which keeps hierarchies legible and forces the real work to live in tasks, not folders.

  • Tracks, then sections. Sections appear the moment you name one, and not before. Structure is opt-in per task.
  • It knows what's next. Each project card carries its next action rather than making you go find it.
  • It notices when something stalls. 8 days idle gets a quiet flag and one suggestion, once.
  • One nesting level, on purpose. The cap is the feature. Infinite flexibility is how a system becomes a second job.

Rewards

Rewards that whisper
from their own tab.

Streaks, momentum, milestones and 12-week seasons live in Progress — a tab you visit on purpose. No points economy, no leaderboards, no red badges begging you back.

  • Momentum scores you against your own plan, not against anyone else, and not against volume.
  • Seasons replace levels. 12 weeks, then a one-page recap of what you built. Nothing resets, nothing is lost.
  • Gold means one thing. When you see it, you kept a rhythm. It is never used for decoration.
  • One switch turns it all off. If scores aren't for you, the app stops keeping them.

Why we're building it

You have promised yourself things. Small ones — twenty minutes of moving, a call home on Sundays. Large ones — the kitchen, the language, the year you finally review the budget before the budget reviews you.

Somewhere along the way, the tools meant to help began keeping score against you. They painted your missed days red. They threatened your streaks at midnight. They confused your attention with your progress, and they wanted the attention.

We think a promise to yourself deserves better company.

So we built a quieter machine. It knows the difference between the thing you do once and the thing you do over and over, because those are different promises. It measures rhythm, not perfection — a rate recovers; a broken chain just breaks. It celebrates in a whisper and never punishes at all. It tells you when the day is done, and it means it: your evening is yours.

It will not make you a different person by Friday. It will make you a slightly steadier one by spring — and it will show you the evidence, gently, in gold.

Do it once. Or do it daily. Either way, we'll keep the rhythm — so you can keep the promise.

Yours

Nothing shared, sold, or social.

The trust posture isn't a policy page. It's how the thing is built.

Works without an account

Set it up and use it with nothing signed in. Your data stays on your device until you choose to sync it.

Exports completely

Everything, in CSV or JSON — tasks, habits, projects, milestones. Any spreadsheet or script can read it.

Keeps a mail contract

Sign-in links and export files. That's the list. No re-engagement mail, ever — not from the app, and not from this waitlist.

Questions

The honest answers.

When does ogoria launch?

We're building toward a first release on iPhone and Android. We'll email the waitlist once, when it's ready to open. No countdown, because we'd have to invent the date.

Will I need an account?

No. ogoria works fully signed out — everything stays on your device. An account exists only to sync and back up, and it gets offered after setup, never as a wall in front of it.

What happens to my data?

It's yours. Full CSV and JSON export of everything — tasks including their closed-with-reason history, habits with cadences and completions, projects, milestones. Nothing shared, sold, or social.

Will you send me streak reminders?

No. We never send streak-guilt messages. You choose one morning digest, per-item reminders, both, or silence — and silence is a first-class answer, not a dark corner of settings.

Will it cost money?

There will be a free tier you can stay on for good, and an optional subscription for depth — longer history, more structure, calendar sync. We'll publish the numbers before launch rather than guess at them now.

How is this different from a to-do app?

A to-do app treats a habit like a task that keeps coming back, then marks it red when you miss. ogoria knows those are different promises. A task is done once and gone. A habit is measured by a rate that recovers.

What does the waitlist actually get me?

A confirmation now, and one email on launch day. That's the entire commitment, and it's the same contract the app keeps: we tell you what we'll send, then send only that.

Do it once. Or do it daily.

ogoria is coming to iPhone and Android. Leave your address and we'll tell you the day it opens — once, and then not again.
